Digital girl.

This was originally a quick sketch that turned into a little bit of a present for steen. But it has taken so long to complete (due to sheer inattentiveness.) that I've just finished it to get it out of the way lol. This is also my 1st digital piece i guess... just getting re-acquainted with photoshop and my tablet, its been far too long.

Since this has turned into a more personal blog than anything, thought I would spill some beans.

Here is a list of projects I have started;

"fish for me" (working title) A short film about a man and a fish from the sea.
"fallen Angel" A Music video for Colin Bullock.

And numerous fx and animation tests.

I haven't been doing anything latley, due to moving/unpacking. But soon I will be neck deep in animation.

ARGH its hot in here

If you've been to my place, you know its a freakin sauna in my little office space. Its hardcore lame, trust me 32.5 degrees c is no state to be animating in. (90F for all you imperialists)

So What I've done with "Bob" I'm scrapping, It just looks horrible.

I really have to get back into my effects. I haven't been being true to my artistic needs. so after I get "Bob" out of the way, expect some fx out of me, you know, some goo, some lightning, some splashes, explosions... all the good stuff.

Training?

I had a taste of the animaton world on friday. I have to say I'm so excited to one day work in a stable studio enviroment.

I've finished my training at Big Bad Boo. I can now animate in Toon Boom Harmony! WOO!!! I love that program, more geared towards animation, the good ol' hotkeys. good stuff.

Now to work on my portfolio again, time to crank out some quality animation.

Oh and a "Bob" update: havent had alot of time, but I plan on having him done later this week for sure. This project has been running on for much too long. Aiming for thusday afternoon. After I meet up with a good friend of mine, Colin Bullock, for a music video discussion. Check out his myspace

Bob

here is a build I've finished. took about 2 hours of solid work.
He's going to be a weight lifter. When I get a chance to animate him. I'm Kinda in the middle of packing and fixxing up the apartment to move.



Expect this in the next week. For realz.

New and improved

I completed a walk cycle, I haven't been animating in flash much so this is kind of a reorientation to flash.

I have another day off from my non animation job, so I'll work on another project. perhaps a bug. yes.. a more traditional bug.
